OUR STORY
Little Laundry Co is an Eco Focused Laundry Service based in Ipplepen. The Laundry was formed in early 2021 by local lads Jack Wood and Tom Sercombe who both have vast experience in professional laundry and reprocessing equipment.
Jack Wood currently also runs C.R.Wood Electrical, The Southwest’s largest Miele partner supplying and servicing domestic and commercial equipment. Jack has already racked up 11 years experience since leaving school. He grew up in and around his grandfathers business and the wealth of knowledge he built up during this time leaves him very well respected within the industry, defying his young years.
Jack is also a massive part of the village community and a driving force in events such as The Village show and Ipplepen carnival club.
Tom Sercombe has amassed 26 years experience in the commercial laundry sector, leaving school a long time ago (late 1995) he joined C.R.Wood Electrical as an apprentice, qualified as a domestic and commercial service engineer and worked with Chris up until 2013, upon which he joined the Miele company, during his 8 years he gained further experience in Laboratory Equipment, Validation and Process. Tom has now gone full circle and teamed up with Jack once more at C.R.Wood Electrical.
Tom was a keen sportsman in his younger days, and still has close links with the local football scene.
From humble beginnings, 1 washing machine and 1 tumble dryer in an outbuilding and the Ironing being done in Toms snug, The laundry has grown steadily to where we are today. We are lucky to have a great team with us, who we are thankful too, for putting up with our aspirations.………see more in meet the team.
With Jack and Tom having strong beliefs in Miele, Our laundry is fitted with all Miele Professional Washing Machines, Tumble Dryers and Rotary Irons, Giving what we believe to be an unbeatable finish, whilst caring for your belongings and the environment.
Our Totnes Laundry is the first of its kind in the area with 100% of drying carried out using air source heat pump. No gas!

All machinery and surfaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. From our engineers on the factory floor, to our drivers delivering linen back to you, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and are proud to be a part of this company.
